Your objective is to assault your opponent's king in order to checkmate them and prevent them from escaping. Take turns capturing your opponent's pieces while protecting your own king by moving one piece at a time.

After selecting a piece to view its possible moves, decide where to put it. Examine what an opponent might take in return before capturing their piece. If the move leaves your queen vulnerable to assault, taking a pawn will not really help!

Before making your next move, consider your opponent's most recent move. Before launching your own attack, find out how to defend your queen if they have attempted to do so.
